Dubai’s placement at second in a newly released global ranking of intelligent cities reflects years of deliberate policy choices by emirate officials to embed artificial intelligence across government services and urban infrastructure. The assessment, which evaluated 61 cities across 39 countries, measured how effectively urban centres deploy AI and digital technologies to enhance public services, strengthen economic competitiveness and improve residents’ quality of life, according to Emirates News Agency (WAM), a TV BRICS partner.
